BE A GLADFINDER
Once upon a time I was a doom and gloomer, a see-the-glass-half-empty girl who expected the worst and usually found it. It's not the way to live the abundant life Jesus promises us. And, if we want transformed lives, it all starts with the way we think. Romans 2:12.
I am a recovering whiner--who still slips into "stinking thinking" sometimes. I'm getting better at playing the "glad game," to reframe every experience, put a new spin on it, ask myself: What can I find to be glad about in this situation? There is always a flip side to every flop, a hidden gem in each disappointment. Look for it, and you'll find it.
In these uncertain times we need to change our focus, view our challenges and setbacks in light of God's truth. That's where hope lives.
Welcome!
Thanks for stopping by. If you're an event planner, you'll want to know that I'm known for my zany humor. Laughter is such good therapy. It breaks down walls, melts the resistant heart and prepares it for God's touch. Plus, it's just fun to let go and laugh with girlfriends.
While I was once the woman behind the mask, full of secrets, I'm now very open about my past, my present, my meltdowns, my struggles, my spats with God and the way he keeps on loving and growing me. Women yearn for authenticity, to be known and loved for who God created them to be, but we play so many roles in life with pressure to perform (much of it we heap on ourselves.) I dare women to let go and live in the freedom Christ offers.
Enjoy your stay. I hope to hear from you.
