  BE A GLADFINDER

Once upon a time I was a doom and gloomer, the grumble girl who saw the glass half empty and always expected the worst. Guess what? I usually found it.
It's not the way to live the abundant life Jesus promises us. And, if we want transformed lives, it all starts with the way we think.
(Romans 12:2)
How Yes, I still slip into "stinking thinking" sometimes, but it never lasts long. I launch into the "glad game" and reframe my experience, see the flip side of it. Ask myself: What can I find to be glad about in this situation?
There is always a flip side to every flop, a hidden gem in each disappointment. Look for it and you'll find it.

In these uncertain times what a difference it makes to change our focus, to view our challenges and setbacks through God-colored glasses. That's where we find hope.
The devil has two fool-proof weapons: distraction and discouragement. We are easily distracted by the busyness of our world, and discouragement is all around us. But if we take on a heavenly mindset, see the world through our God-colored glasses, the joy of the Lord will truly be our strength.

Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by.  Very soon my website will have a whole new look, but for now please browse around. Then check back next month for the makeover! If you're an event planner, you may know that I'm known for blending my zany humor with the message of God's redeeming, restoring, reviving truth. The Bible says laughter is good medicine; so true. It breaks down walls, melts resistant hearts and does wonders for our weary souls. I've never had a gal say, "We laughed too much." Rather, "It felt so good to laugh and let go." I poke much fun at myself which seems to comfort women and help them risk being real.
I love diving deep in the Bible, and my talks are laced with stories and illustrations from God's Word.
    ***
While I was once the woman behind the mask, full of secrets and shame, I'm now an open book as I share my backstory and how the Lord has used my past (the locusts in my life) for my good and His glory.
Women yearn for authentic life, to be known and loved for who God created them to be but the pressure to perform and please often steers us off course. Retreats and conferences are a way to get re-centered, to gain fresh insights and experience more of God. My goal is for every woman to leave more inspired and challenged than before she came.
I'm honored at any invitation, so let's pray about whether I'm the right fit for the event you have in mind.
Enjoy your stay. I hope to hear from you.

"You only live once, but if you do it right (God's way) once is enough."
