"We found Jan to be just what we needed in our lives this Christmas, 2009. After a difficult year for most, we felt we needed humor and a light-hearted message for the women at our church and their guests at our Christmas Tea, 'Merry and Bright.' Jan's heartbeat pulsed with energetic life from our stage. While using her hilarious props at times and then weaving her deepest life's challenges around the hope we find in Christ, we shared intiamte moments that we could all relate to. The message of Jesus Christ as Savior was clear, and we had many women respond with a renewed passion to follow Him. From the ease of picking her up at the airport to the instant flow of conversation, I realized Jan would be able to communicate well. Her style is fresh, deeply moving, yet has that bright humorous touch which brings the spirit of Joy to life.
